Fees are quoted stage by stage, in writing, before any work starts. You will know what a bail application costs before it is filed, and what a trial costs before it begins.
How stages are billed
- First consultation — a fixed fee, adjusted against the brief if the matter is taken up
- Bail or anticipatory bail — quoted for the application and its hearings in that court
- Trial — quoted for the stage, not per hearing, so an adjournment costs you nothing extra
- High Court matters — quoted separately, including drafting
What is separate
Court fees, process fees, certified copy charges and travel outside Gurugram are actual expenses and are billed at cost.
What is never charged
Nothing is charged for phone calls to ask what is happening in your own case. That is part of the brief.
Payments
Payments are made by bank transfer or UPI and are receipted. Cash payments above the statutory limit are not accepted.
